Golf Solitaire: from controls to your first round

Keep the active rule in mind. Remove all 35 tableau cards. Select cards directly on the tableau and work through a full solo deal. Return to the explanation when a decision is unclear. Treat this as a chance to practise one rule. Take an exposed bottom card one rank above or below the waste top, allowing ace–king wrapping. The same rule applies on a phone and on a computer.

Seven columns of five, one stock pass. Free solo play, no wagering.

Practice beyond the first move

Treat this as a chance to practise one rule. Tap exposed cards that satisfy the removal rule shown above. Check the relevant controls before continuing.

How your actions work

Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. Use another round to revisit a decision. Keep the active rule in mind.

An example before you play

Waste queen accepts jack or king. The same rule applies on a phone and on a computer.

A useful caution

A clear plan starts with the current position. Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. Use another round to revisit a decision.
